Ripple: Minimalist Notebook

A minimalist notes app for quick thoughts, ideas and diaries

Ripple is an iPhone and iPad note-taking app built around plain text notes with no formatting toolbars. Notes can be colored per entry and viewed either as a sticky-note board or as a list, and gestures open tags, search and settings. Data is stored locally by default, with optional iCloud sync across devices. The app is free to download; an All Time Membership unlocks the paid features for a single $3.99 purchase, alongside optional monthly and annual plans.

UI-TARS Desktop

Control your computer using natural language

UI-TARS Desktop is a GUI agent app from ByteDance that drives your computer or browser from plain-language instructions, using the UI-TARS vision-language model to read the screen and click, type and scroll for you. It ships prebuilt installers on GitHub Releases: signed .dmg builds for Apple Silicon and Intel Macs plus a Windows Setup.exe. The whole stack is Apache-2.0 licensed with no paid tier, no account and no subscription. You point it at a UI-TARS model endpoint you run locally or host yourself, so the only running cost is the model inference you choose to pay for.
