ReStem 2

Turn one drum track into seven.

ReStem 2 takes a mixed stereo drum recording and splits it into seven separate stems: kick, snare, hi-hat, toms, ride, crash, and an 'other' stem for everything that is not a drum. It runs as a standalone app on macOS and Windows, and the Pro edition also loads as AU, VST3, VST, AAX and ARA2 inside a DAW, where it can separate live on the insert or render offline for cleaner results. Pro adds a look-ahead noise gate, transient shaper, a transient restorer on kick and snare, Drumagog-engine drum replacement, MIDI output on every stem, and batch processing. All processing happens on the local machine with nothing uploaded, and the same file always produces the same stems.

Capture audio from any tab, detect BPM and key in seconds

Ritmo is a Chromium browser extension that records the audio playing in any tab and saves it as uncompressed 24-bit WAV or 320kbps MP3. It runs deterministic DSP on the capture to report tempo and musical key, then files the result in a local, searchable library with BPM, key and format tags. A gain, bass and saturation FX chain can be applied live or printed into the recording, and a virtual piano, BPM tapper and metronome let you check the result by ear. All capture and analysis happen in the browser with no account and no upload.
