Taim is a macOS time tracker that records what you work on without you starting or stopping a timer. It watches the apps and windows you use, splits the day into active, focus and break periods, and lets you edit or add sessions by hand afterwards. Sessions can be marked billable or paid, tagged, filtered by date or project, and exported to XLS, CSV or PDF. Data stays on the device on the Individual plan, and the app also includes a Pomodoro timer, a menu bar widget and webhooks for Asana and Jira.

When They Work is a browser tool that shows whether a country or city is inside its local working hours right now. You search for a place and it returns the local time, the working window, a Working or Off-Duty status, and how much of the workday is left. Everything is converted against your own time zone, and the data covers most countries plus major cities in every time zone. A Chrome extension is available and no account or login is required.
